The P&C and the school work together to provide as many possible extra-curricular activities onsite. The ones we have listed here are either organised by the school or by the school and P&C working together. They are privately run and will have costs associated with them. If your child goes to Jabiru you can coordinate with them to enable your child to go to and from these activities. This must be discussed directly with Jabiru and the organiser of the activity.
There are additional extra-curricular activities run within the school program such as the bands, choirs, ukulele ensemble, talent competition and Budgie Cup. These do not have costs associated with joining in and are organised by the school. Details of those programs are available through the school.
Brisbane Roar Soccer (Term 1 2024)
Our School Program is a unique way for children of all abilities to learn from the three-time Isuzu ute a-league champions Brisbane Roar. Touch Footy (Term 2 2024)
The P&C has worked in conjunction with Qld Touch to deliver a tailored program for our school. Focusing on core skills in a fun environment building up to games by the end of the season, these sessions are from Prep to Year 6. They offer older students a chance to hone their skills for Budgie Cup and younger ones an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game.
AFL Auskick (Term 3 2024)

Chessmates
Designed especially for children in Prep and above, our chess classes are fun, interactive, and tailored by our teachers to suit the kids in each class.
